The Fiscal Policy Research Center, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Catholic University and with the support of Transparency International Ukraine, announces the launch of the training program “Co-Creating Community Budgets: From Needs to Analytics.”
This course aims to strengthen the capacity of local communities to effectively engage in the budgeting process, make informed decisions, and implement approaches to budget planning based on the real needs of the community.
The program includes:
- An online module starting on July 7, 2025
- A four-day offline module in Lviv, held from July 21 to 24, 2025, at the Ukrainian Catholic University
Who can apply:
- Representatives of sectoral civil society organizations
- Employees of local government executive bodies
- Local council deputies
Participants will gain knowledge and practical skills in:
- The budget process
- Data collection and analysis
- Strategic advocacy
- Communication with various stakeholders
Participation in the course is free of charge for all selected participants.
Travel and meal expenses during the offline module are covered by participants themselves.
Accommodation and coffee breaks will be provided by the organizers.
