There was a shared commitment between the teams to showcase the recovery process.

“Today we presented a project that, just six months ago, was a major dream of mine. Making it happen seemed like an especially challenging task. But the teams of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration and the Fiscal Policy Research Center shared a common determination to show that all recovery processes can be transparent and public,” said Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

Viktor Maziarchuk, Head of the Fiscal Policy Research Center, stated that during the first year and a half following the full-scale invasion, recovery works for 2,046 projects in Kyiv region were financed from the state budget in the total amount of UAH 1.5 billion. These figures cover the period from 24 February 2023 to 31 August 2023 and are presented in the dashboard for monitoring reconstruction expenditures in Kyiv region.

“Today we presented a project that, just six months ago, was a major dream of mine. Bringing it to life seemed like an especially challenging task. But the Kyiv Regional Military Administration team and the Fiscal Policy Research Center shared a common goal: to demonstrate that all recovery processes can be transparent and public.
